The Tearless Eyes

There are no more tears that can fall from your eyes. Each day to be positive or negative, always a surprise.

Life has thrown you a challenge to make you stumble and fall. Boldy against the pain and suffering you’re now forced to face it all.

Now this new world seems a cold and dark place. Somehow you have to muster up the courage and display it on your face.

Yet depression, anxiety, and physical ailments are this new life’s fate, and you long for when it’s over so you can stand at Heaven’s gate.

The world keeps turning and time moves on. You’re surrounded by loving faces but still feel alone.

Your Specialist that have studied with the knowledge of this life’s struggles that to you are new, are here to guide you to make it through. At first they are strangers, then feel are the family you always knew.

They teach to cope with strategies and tools specifically for you. Their care and compassion each day gives you HOPE to face this life that is new.

It’s called your “Road to Recovery”, but how is this true, when each day now faced is a discovery to you.

There are many battles you face to fight alone and your thought is what for, because now each day placed before you seems like a never ending war.

This is now your life that you didn’t choose. A new mask, a new disguise that has been placed on you.

You search and mourn for the old person still within you, but while looking, your mind says who?

The person you once were is only known by pictures and vague memories.
That person is now in the dark corners of your mind with your shine that never dies.
Yet, somehow they are gone and there are no tears left to fall from your eyes.
……..end……….

Thank You all for your time in reading a way to express what I’m feeling right now in this journey!

Thanks for the follow *, Lance. The reason I write is to share.
    * (Though my family and close friends say it would be far more
entertaining with a video-camera # in “real life”, rather than in
    cyberspace!)

    # By the way, do they still make them in today’s ever-faster changing
world..or is it all done with mobile phones?

(get with the times now,”luddite”* c – it should be a smart phone)

    * or so I was often called by my “my techno-geek” friend, Bill (“the gonk”)

    “total non-techno” c (who doesn’t possess a mobile phone, after a rather
eventful’ experience some years back, whilst trying to walk, talk and
chew gum at the same time)

    Who says men can’t multi-task!

Kind regards and all the best with your blog

  2. Welcome to Virtual Vitamins! You had no reason to know, but my wife had a large benign brain tumor removed two years ago and is still dealing with memory issues as a result. Considering that she also has Parkinson’s Disease, we can empathize with you to some extent. May my words be a blessing to you, and may your words inspire and encourage many.
